The Green Man: Iron & Wine
| |
Ah, The Green Man. Set in the rolling Brecon Beacons, this festival is as far removed from the corporate behemoths as it's possible to get in an English park in summer.
Whether you want to sit round a bonfire, learn to knit, indulge in a spot of hollistic therapy or tour the park's architectural monuments - including standing stones - there's more to the Green Man than its impressive live music line-up.
 |
That line-up heads generally in a becalmed, folky, acoustic direction. Highlights announced so far include the original line-up of Pentangle, plus Richard Thompson, Super Furry Animals, Laura Marling and Iron & Wine.
If all this sounds idyllic enough that you already want to stake out your patch of grass, it gets better. musicOMH.com has a pair of three-day passes up for grabs. If you fancy your chance of claiming them, answer the following question and maybe, just maybe, it'll be your name picked out of our virtual trilby.
The question:
Q. What is the name of Super Furry Animals front man Gruff Rhys's other project which, in 2008, released its debut album?
a) Neon Neon
b) Meow Meow
c) On Off On
